Val is a real person, living a real, mundane, unspectacular life.
Like many others, she secretly wishes to be at the centre of the universe.
Like some others, she hasn’t fully come to terms with the fact that she isn’t.
So, for want of a reality befitting her grandiose imagination, she decides to write a blog about herself.
Extremely narcissistic, I know. She does too.
Well, she would. She is me.

No, I’m not going to be recounting to you every mundane detail of my daily life. Actually, I’m not quite sure what it is I’m going to be telling you. But I’ll cross that bridge when I come to it.

Why thank you! I did not realise there was such a lovely award making its rounds in the blogosphere. I feel like I just won an Oscars.
Well actually this is way cooler, because I get to give away my Oscars too – I doubt cutting up that golden statue is a much-practised practice (oops, bad word choice) in the L of A.
